Sandra is an economist from Sweden who loves traveling and adventures but hates winter and snow. She holds a master degree in International Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and has also studied political science. After her graduation, Sandra worked one year as a management consultant. That was enough for Sandra to realize that life is too short to be spent on working and she booked a one way ticket to Uganda where she joined Community Microfinance Limited (CML) as a volunteer. At CML, Moses introduced Sandra to the idea of Lenders Without Borders. Together, they developed the concept further and by the end, Sandra became a Ugandan business owner herself. Now, Sandra divides her time between Sweden were she is a credit analyst and Uganda. She wishes to pursue a PhD in economics and continue to work with development economics. She brings her international experience of project finance management to our organization.
